「愛玉」的英文說法是 aiyu jelly 或 ice jelly
它主要在台灣和新加坡較常見，所以對大部份老外來說是個新奇的玩意兒
在跟老外說這個東西的問題是，aiyu 是個音譯的說法
若他不知道這是什麼，說了他還是不會懂，只會從名稱知道它是一種果凍(jelly)
而 ice jelly 則是新加坡的說法，沒有在新加坡生活過的老外也很難想像ice jelly 到底是什麼
所以跟老外說這是 aiyu jelly 或 ice jelly，只是向他介紹這種東西的名稱
至於它到底是什麼，還是得稍微解釋一下才行
